Silvateam and Stahl sponsor Hong Kong conference

Leather testing and consultancy body Eurofins BLC has announced that two leather chemicals firms, Stahl and Silvateam, will sponsor a conference it will run in Hong Kong on March 14.

Both chemicals manufacturers will have speakers at the event, which has ‘Sustainability in the leather supply chain’ as its overall theme.

Stahl will present on how changing consumer buying habits and perspectives might affect the leather industry, and Silvateam will talk around the benefits of producing tanning extracts in a sustainable way, including vegetable tanning.
