MLA managing director to depart

Research and marketing body Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) has announced that its managing director, Richard Norton, is to leave the position in December.

Mr Norton has headed up the organisation since 2014 but is leaving to join Adelaide-based livestock trading company Elders.

The board of MLA paid tribute to the work Richard Norton has done to bring greater transparency and accountability to its operations.
