Rinspeed says Stahl “brings something extra to the table”

This is the third time that Stahl has collaborated with Swiss think-tank Rinspeed, having previously worked on the interior for its Ztos and Oasis models.
“Obviously, interior design has a crucial role to play in the future of mobility,” Frank Rinderknecht, CEO of Rinspeed, has said. “That is why we wanted to work with a global player in the car interior industry that would bring something extra to the table. Stahl’s vision, solutions and the innovative materials used do just that.”
The Snap concept car is designed to address the new demands that will come with trends such as autonomous driving. Stahl has said it contributed “various innovative, sustainable solutions” to the car’s interior.
The leather used in the car was tanned using Stahl’s EasyWhite Tan technology, which reduces water, salt and energy consumption during the manufacturing process. It also applied its Stay Clean technology to protect the upholstery against dirt and stains.
At Milan Design Week (April 17-22), Stahl has said it will showcase and elaborate on all the VOC-free solutions used in the Rinspeed Snap.
