Lectra appoints regional manager for Spain and Portugal

Automated cutting technology provider Lectra has appointed a new regional director for Spain and Portugal, appointing the head of its Portuguese business, Rodrigo Siza, to this new expanded role.

The company said Porto-based Mr Siza will now nurture “new regional collaborations” to help customers achieve success in “the Industry 4.0 era”. He has been the head of Lectra Portugal for ten years, succeeding, according to chief executive, Daniel Harari, in helping customers there “emerge stronger from the global crisis that impacted heavily on them”. Rodrigo Siza has worked with companies in the automotive and furniture value chains, as well as with textile manufacturers, the sector in which he worked before joining Lectra in 2000.
