Luxury automotive brand Aston Martin has taken possession of the site in Wales in which it will set up a new production plant. It hosted a special ceremony at the site, in St Athan, in early April.

This will be the company’s second UK manufacturing facility and production of its new SUV model, the DBX, will start in 2019.

To celebrate the expansion, it hosted an Aston Martin Open Weekend on April 8 and 9 at the hangers in Wales. Around 15,000 Aston Martin owners, fans and enthusiasts travelled to the site and the company put 300 Aston Martin cars on show.
