Luxury brands Versace had name Brian Henke as CEO of its US business. He replaces Michele Sodi, who is leaving to pursue other interests.

Mr Henke most recently served as president of Jimmy Choo USA, a role he held for eight years. He also spent over a decade at Prada, rising to the position of vice president of retail for the brand’s US operations.

“Given Brian’s successful tenure at both Jimmy Choo and Prada, and his deep understanding of the luxury market and its clientele, we are confident that the brand will be in very good hands with his leadership,” said Jonathan Akeroyd CEO of Versace.

For his part, Mr Henke said he was looking forward to working with Mr Akeroyd and the whole Versace team. He takes up the role with immediate effect.
