New workshop area at Première Vision Leather
05/01/2017
There will be a total of 230 leather exhibitors, offering a range of products targeted at the premium sector.
To better connect Première Vision Leather with Première Vision Accessories, the accessories on offer for footwear and leathergoods will be located in the Leather Trends Gallery. This sees the Shoe Focus forum replaced with the Bag and Shoe Elements zone.
At the February show, Première Vision Leather’s conference and workshop area will be unveiled. It will feature a series of seminars and classes delivered by Florence-based training organisation Luxury Materials Workshop. They will offer sessions specifically tailored for labels and designers, allowed them to increase their technical expertise in the areas of materials and finishes.
The daily Leather Fashion Breakfasts will again take place, with fashion forecasts for the spring-summer 2018 season, including colours and key materials.
Première Vision Leather will provide opportunity for discussion on the future of the leather industry as part of the Smart Conversation project. Industry participants will be invited to present their vision for how to make leather production more responsible, with material sourcing, traceable production processes and environmentally-responsible innovation all on the agenda.
