New Stahl centre in India to focus on leather dyes

Leather chemicals manufacturer Stahl has opened a new centre of excellence for dyeing solutions in Thane, in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The new centre will focus on the testing and development of existing and new dyestuffs.

Chief executive, Huub van Beijeren, said the decision behind this new project is in line with Stahl’s determination to be “an industry leader in the wet-end leather segment”. He said the facility in Thane will become a hub for testing dyestuffs to make sure they comply with international norms.
