Owing to strong interest from candidates in the Americas, Stahl has announced that it will open a new Stahl Campus in Léon in Mexico. It has appointed Juan Antonio Frías as the manager of the facility, which it hopes will attract visitors from all parts of the Americas. Students will take part in course ranging from one day to five days in length, with the content aimed at sharing knowledge of product handling procedures, responsibility, safety and other topics.
“Mexico is a strategic choice of location,” Stahl said on making the announcement. “It has the largest conglomeration of tanneries in the world, with a focus on automotive leather.”
The company has plans to open a third Stahl Campus in Guangzhou later this year.
