Former BSLT lecturer Dante Davighi passes away

Dante Davighi, a lecturer at the former British School of Leather Technology (BSLT) in Northampton, has died.

Mr Davighi held a senior lecturer’s post at the college from 1977 until his retirement in 2002, and then worked as a part-time lecturer until 2004. The BSLT is now known as the Institute for Creative Leather Technologies.

Mr Davighi was an active member of the Corium Club, which was made up of former students of the BSLT.

The university has sent condolences to his family.
