Aston Martin chooses Welsh location for new factory
24/02/2016
Chief executive, Andrew Palmer, said Aston Martin had considered 20 different locations around the world for the new factory but had decided on St Athan because it had been "consistently impressed" by the way the Welsh government went about presenting the location and helping the automotive company finalise plans for making the DBX there.
The first DBX models will roll off the new production line in 2020. They will be the first cars produced in Wales in 50 years.
