Footwear giant to close Dongguan factory

It said it the facility mainly made ladies shoes for companies such as Prada and Rockport, but rising wages led to a 50% fall in profits last year, according to a company announcement.
It said other manufacturers had moved production to facilities elsewhere in Asia where wages are lower.
