China’s footwear exports fall but bag exports healthy

The value of footwear exports from China fell 5% to 298.8 billion yuan ($46 billion) during the first 11 months compared with the same period last year, according to a report on the China Leather Industry Association’s website.

However, exports of bags and luggage rose 4.6% to 157.98 billion yuan ($24 billion), it said.
