TFL unveils colour trends for spring-summer 2017
TFL has published its colour trends for leather clothing, footwear, accessories and upholstery for spring/summer 2017, divided into ‘wearing’ and ‘living’.
In terms of ‘wearing’, bovine and nubuck leathers in bright colours using wet-white tanning will be popular, while printed matt topcoats on lambskins and calfskins will also be in fashion. Colours will vary from intense red and pink to yellow, oranges and greens.
For ‘living’, there will be faded aspects to nubuck bovine leather and nappalan finishing using soft polyurethanes in iridescent colours, protected by anti-soiling solutions. The colours will range from violet and greens to intense red and orange.
The chemicals group is also introducing the RODA cor HTP pigments, a range of fine dispersed anionic pigments in aqueous phase with a high transparency.
