15 years on Dow Jones sustainability index for BASF

Leather chemicals manufacturer BASF has been included in the latest edition of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World). This is the fifteenth consecutive year in which BASF has won inclusion on the list.

“The company has been especially recognised for its engagement in the areas of innovation management, environmental and social reporting, product stewardship and human capital development,” BASF said on making the announcement.

Listed companies have to demonstrate continuous improvement every year with regard to sustainability and are assessed by analysts from specialist sustainability investment firm, Zurich-based RobecoSAM.
