Porsche has reported the most successful half-year in its history with a 30% rise in deliveries to 113,984 vehicles.

Revenue increased 33% to 10.85 billion euros while employee numbers grew 10% to 23,477.
"All models and derivatives that we have recently launched have proven to be top sellers in their markets," said chairman Matthias Muller.

Positive currency effects lessened the burdens of the investments in future technologies and updating its production sites.

Porsche will invest more than €1 billion in Zuffenhausen and Weissach by 2020 and €500,000 on extension of the Leipzig plant.
