Loewe chief executive praises Spanish raw material (again)

The chief executive of Spanish luxury leathergoods brand Loewe, Lisa Montague, has said the raw material her company uses is “possibly the best leather, the best raw material” in the world.

She made the comments in a recent interview with Madrid-based news agency EFE.

UK-born Ms Montague has spoken frequently in the past of the importance to Loewe of being able to use material such as nappa leather from entrefino lambskins from animals reared in the Pyrenees.
