Brazilian tanners target $3m from Interzum

Four Brazilian tanneries including JBS are exhibiting at Interzum and expect to reap orders of $3 million, according to industry association CICB.

Italian tanner Gruppo Dani and Germany’s Heller Leder are also attending the furniture event, under way in the German city of Cologne (May 5 to 8).

The executive president of Brazilian tanners association CICB, José Fernando Bello, said: “Interzum is one of the most relevant events for the companies that produce leather for the international furniture segment. CICB’s presence, among this four other companies, shows that we are also competitive within this sector.”
