Mipel grows closer to Micam

Milan leathergoods exhibition Mipel will have a closer connection to the Micam footwear exhibition from September 2015 onwards. The two shoes have traditionally been co-located but have tended to plough separate furrows.

This will change in September when Mipel will occupy Hall 10 at the Milano Rho exhibition site instead of its usual standalone place in Halls 8 and 12.

Mipel president, Giorgio Cannara, said the move would add value for visitors and create greater synergy between the two exhibitions. He added: “The evolution of the markets and the new timing of the international trade fair calendar are forcing people to create synergies.”
