Ranipet workers seek answers

Indian press have reported that several hundred workers from six tanneries joined a protest to request further information, with some saying they have not been paid for February.
“The closure orders are not justifiable. Instead of taking action against the persons responsible for the accident, they cannot simply issue closure orders and suspend power connection,” said a tanner, quoted by the New Indian Express.
