Reports from Ghana say the owners of DIHOC Footwear Division shoe manufacturer have set their sights on a $1 million tannery in Kumasi, which will improve the supply of leather, currently imported from India and the Czech Republic.

The company makes boots for the army, as well as under the brand Knights Ghana Limited, a local arm of Knights of the Czech Republic. It also makes sandals for school children, reports the Daily Graphic.
