Chinese group adds to Australian cattle station portfolio

China’s Yiang Xiang Assets has bought Australian cattle ranch Elizabeth Downs, its third such purchase following similar deals New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.

Elisabeth Downs, based in the Northern Territory, was bought for A$11.5 million and is home to 9,000 head of cattle.

Chinese groups have been inspecting other properties in the area, according to local reports.
