17/07/2013
The government of Botswana is looking for partners to invest in a new leather processing plant, according to local reports.

Land has been allocated close to Sir Seretse Khama International Airport and infrastructure such as roads and fibre optic cables have been established, with building estimated to be completed in three years.

The government has been accused of neglecting the leather sector despite the fact the country has 2.5 million cattle, according to Mmegi.
