Leather goods sales boost Tods

Italian footwear and luxury goods group Tods has released interim results for the first nine months of fiscal 2004 that reveal an increase in sales of over 15%.

 

The group as a whole - which encompasses brands such as Tods, Fay and Hogan - reported a sales increase of 15.7% to €331.6 million, however, leather goods proved to be the strongest performer reporting an increase of 23.3% to reach €62.2 million for the first nine months. Footwear sales increased by 15.1% to €214.1 million, whilst clothing increased by 10% to €54.8 million.

 

On a global scale sales in Asia and Europe increased to the greatest extent, rising by 61.7% and 14% respectively.
