Gemata outlines new leadership team and growth strategy
Italian tanning machinery manufacturer Gemata has announced a new leadership structure as part of a strategy focused on innovation, service development and business expansion.
The company said it is entering a new phase of its development, with Giulio Mandruzzato appointed chief executive officer, Mauro Pellizzari vice-president and Alberto Rigoni chief financial officer. Paolo and Giorgio Todesco will continue in leadership roles at Todesco, which joined the Gemata group in 2025.
Gemata said it plans to strengthen its position in leather finishing through continued investment in technologies and processes designed to improve efficiency, productivity and flexibility. The company also outlined ambitions to expand into new markets, reinforce its service offering, pursue targeted acquisitions and invest in talent development.
The company added that digital technologies and artificial intelligence will play an increasingly important role in its future strategy, helping to create more connected, efficient and responsive machines, processes and services.
