19/03/2026
TSL has published a Social, Local, Economic Value (SLEV) report that shows the extension has supported the creation of high-value roles, with 115 people recruited by local firms and hotels booked months in advance.
Andrew Ball, head of Rolls-Royce corporate relations, said: “The new extension will enable us to build ever more extraordinary motor cars for our clients worldwide, safeguarding our business’s future and its immense contribution to the UK economy for decades to come.”
The extension’s new building, which represents an investment of over £300 million, is now weathertight. It is on schedule to be operational in 2029.
