African buyers to make up big contingent at Riva Schuh & Gardabags
Organisers of bags and shoes show Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags have confirmed more than 1,000 exhibitors from 40 countries will attend the January edition of the Italian trade event, showing collections for autumn-winter 25/26.
The 50,000 square metres of exhibition space, complemented by three hotels, will host big Asian manufacturing delegations, particularly from China.
Representatives from trade associations and industry organisations, including those from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, India, Turkey, Pakistan and Bangladesh, will also be attending.
Organisers say the return to the fair of major brands Aerosoles, Pampili and Mustang, along with the continued presence of Geox, Marina Galanti, US Golf Club and Armata di Mare, is a positive signal for the market.
Around 8,300 visitors from 100 countries have registered, 70% of whom are either owners or head buyers. Around 25% of buyers are from Africa. More than 100 buyers selected by the fair, from 32 countries, will be attending for the first time.
The show will take place in Riva del Garda between January 11 and 14.
