UK retailer Furniture Village has revealed leather sofas are most searched for on its website, and have been for "several" years.

The Chesterfield sofa is the most searched-for style.

Mark Reynolds, a retail buyer at Furniture Village, said: "Leather is one of the most popular materials for households due to its durability.

“If you have children or pets, looking for a sofa which will clean easily and stand the test of time is an important factor.”

While grey has been the most popular colour for three years, searches for green sofas have risen 22% since 2020.
