German automotive leather group Bader have been awarded the  Global Performance Champion Award by Volkswagen in recognition of their focus on sustainability, de-carbonization, social standards, and responsible raw material procurement.

The group was also recognised for their flexibility during market turbulence in South America, ensuring a stable supply of leather seat covers but also for their commitment to maintaining business operations during the conflict in the Ukraine.

The award was presented to Lothar Bauhofer, Member of the Board of Directors, by Volkswagen and Porsche CEO Oliver Blume at the Volkswagen Group Awards 2023
