Botswana: Leather sector offers investment opportunity

Leather production was highlighted as one of the most significant investments opportunities in Botswana during the US-Africa Business Summit held in the capital, Gaborone, from July 11-14.

Godisang Radisigo, the major of the country's second-largest city, Francistown, said international companies should also look at the country’s beef sector as an underdeveloped industry that has potential.

The summit brought together more than 1,000 US and African private sector executives, international investors, senior government and multilateral stakeholders.
