The Solofra leather manufacturing district in southern Italy launched a new event called SoLeather in mid-June.

Tanners, their customers and representatives of the wider fashion sector took part in business meetings, roundtable discussions and runway presentations in the course of the day.

National leather industry body UNIC supported the event.
