Pangea wins coveted Toyota award
Automotive leather group Pangea received the “Excellent Technology & Development Award, 2022 for the 3D Surfacing – Leather” from Toyota Motor North America (TMNA), at the car manufacturers annual R&D purchasing supplier developments business meeting this April.
The highly prized award was given in recognition of a proprietary process to enhance design expression for genuine leather on seat surface materials. Specific reference was give to the technology being applied to the latest full model change of the 2023 Lexus RX, their best-selling model for more than 20 years, that see’s Pangea leather used in both front and rear seats.
