III IULTCS EuroCongress takes place in Vicenza
Under the theme “The Renaissance: The Next Leather Generation”, the two-day event co-hosted by the Italian Association of Leather Chemists (AICC), will see 27 oral presentations and 27 poster exhibitions given to more than 400 delegates. With topics to be covered including novel tanning technologies and bio-circular leather manufacture, sustainability and circularity form a solid core for the technical content. The event will also see a tour of the local tanning and wastewater treatment district.
In his opening welcome, EuroCongress president, Giancarlo Lovato, expressed his hopes that the event would not only serve to bring together the latest knowledge, trends and developments in the tanning sector but show that leather still has the capability to be the material of the future.
