Ecco promotes Panos Mytaros to group CEO
Danish footwear and leather group Ecco has appointed Panos Mytaros as CEO, replacing Steen Borgholm, who stepped down by mutual agreement. 

Panos Mytaros first worked for Ecco as tannery director in Indonesia. 

In 2002, he returned to Europe to build the Ecco Leather Group, based in Dongen in the Netherlands. He joined the board in 2011.

The group has also added two to its board. Thomas Gøgsig is the third generation in his family to work for Ecco. He was appointed head of applied research in 2015 and in 2018, VP and chief of staff in the marketing division.

Mads Fink Eriksen has worked with Ecco for 10 years, starting in China. In 2020, he was appointed chief financial officer.
