Enduring product quality helps LVMH to first-half growth
Luxury group LVMH has reported revenues of €28.7 billion for the first six months of 2021, an increase of 53% compared to the same period last year.

Last year was “severely disrupted” by covid-19, the group said, but these results also indicated an increase of 11% compared to the first half of 2019.]

Its leathergoods and fashion division recorded revenues of nearly €13.9 billion, growth of 81% compared to the first half of 2020 and of 38% compared to the first six months of 2019.

Chief executive, Bernard Arnault, said: “The creativity, the high-quality and enduring nature of our products and the sense of responsibility that drives us, have been critical in enabling us to successfully withstand the effects of the pandemic.”
