Boost for III IULTCS EuroCongress Vicenza's organisers
Unione Nazionale Industria Conciaria (UNIC or the Italian tanners’ association) and the national association of Italian leather chemicals manufacturers (UNPAC) have joined with the Italian leather chemists’ association (AICC) on the organising committee of next year’s III IULTCS EuroCongress Vicenza 2022 event.
AICC president, Dr Roberto Mariano Mecenero and president of the III IULTCS EuroCongress, Dr Giancarlo Lovato, jointly stated: “We are proud to cooperate with UNIC and UNPAC; this participation makes the event more important internationally. We are sure that, thanks to this synergy, we will also be able to organise an event that will show the excellence of the entire Italian tanning industry.”
Environmental sustainability will be a key theme for the event, a press release said, with the III IULTCS EuroCongress considered the “right stage” to publicly discuss the Italian leather industry’s commitment to an “ecological and technological transition”.
