Two new testing commission convenors for IULTCS
The International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies has appointed new convenors to two of its three test-method commissions.
Jackie Glasspool, group quality manager at UK research and testing body SATRA, has taken over as convenor of the IULTCS physical testing commission, replacing Mike Wilson, who retired recently.
At the same time, IULTCS announced that Gustavo Defo, founder and director of Ars Tinctoria in Italy, will be the new convenor of its commission for fastness testing. He replaces Campbell Page, who had been convenor of the commission since 1994.
Convenors of the test method commissions are automatically also members of the IULTCS executive committee. On welcoming these new members, the executive committee said it was grateful to Mike Wilson and Campbell Page for their “many years of professionalism and dedicated service”.
