PrimeAsia ‘to think outside box’ with steadfast goals
In it, it said, that despite the challenges presented by the covid-19 pandemic, the five-year goals wouldn’t be changed. “We are aware that some of our achievements may be delayed but by keeping clear and ambitious objectives, it forces us to think outside the box.”
In 2019, the group completed the expansion of its retanning and finishing facilities in Vietnam.

PrimeAsia’s five-year goals, 2019-2023, are:
• Energy decrease of 15% per square foot of leather manufactured
• Fresh water decrease of 30% per square foot of leather manufactured
• Waste decrease of 30% per square foot of leather manufactured
• Renewable energy sources increase from 20% to 75%; and
• Recycled water increase from 29% to 70% of total water utilised.
