The multi-stakeholder Leather Working Group (LWG) has received reports of fraudulent emails being sent to members impersonating a member of the LWG team.

It contains a request for information on fees, and says LWG’s bank details have changed. The signature comes from a Tobby Diassy but it is possible other names may have been used, it said.

LWG said: “If you receive this email, please do not respond to it, but report it to the LWG immediately. All legitimate LWG emails will be sent from a leatherworkinggroup.com email address.”
