Registration open for LWG webinar on Chromium VI

21/08/2020

Registration is still open for the Leather Working Group (LWG) webinar on Chromium VI (CrVI), which will take place August 26th and 27th. As the next installment of LWG’s series, these will focus on monitoring and prevention within the context of leather manufacturing facilities and will include information about the requirements of the LWG Environmental Audit Protocol.

The training webinar on CrVI will be delivered twice to cover multiple time-zones, which LWG said it is doing to allow as many members as possible to attend. Slides and a recording of the webinar will then be available to LWG members.

Georgina Mawer, who leads the Chem-MAP team at BLC Leather Technology Centre, will give a detailed overview of legislative requirements for monitoring and preventing the formation of CrVI. Mark Lucas, who conducts LWG audits all over the world and is a member of the LWG technical sub-group, will also speak.

The first session will be Wednesday, August 26th, 9:00-10:00 BST; the second will be the following day, 15:00-16:00 BST. Registration is available via the LWG website.
