London’s Design Museum to host Prada’s first major exhibition
Iconic fashion house Prada will hold its first major museum exhibition next year in London’s Design Museum. Set to open September 2020, Prada. Front and Back will explore the brand’s creative approach, inspirations and landmark collaborations.

Organisers said it will also dive into “Prada’s transformation of the idea and practice of fashion and the continuing evolution of a global enterprise”. The phrase Front and Back in the exhibition’s title alludes to both the “surface” of fashion and the “creative and industrial infrastructure on which it depends”.

“Through the prism of design visionaries such as Rem Koolhaas and Herzog and de Meuron, we will tell Prada’s remarkable story in fashion,” said Deyan Sudjic, director and curator of the Prada exhibit.
