Twelfth Ecco ‘Hot-Shop’ takes place in Dongen
Tannery group Ecco held the latest edition of its annual workshop, the ‘Hot-Shop’, at the end of June. Held over four days at its premises in Dongen, the Netherlands, this was the 12th time it has taken place.

The theme for this year’s edition was ‘Metamorphosis’, drawing parallels between how a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly and how leather is created from hides and skins.

It brought together what Ecco describes as “an elite community” of designers, futurists, artists, marketers and leather technicians from sectors like fashion, industrial design, furniture and electronics.
