Brazilian footwear bodies prepare to launch 2018 report

Two Brazilian footwear industry associations, Assintecal and Abicalçados, will jointly host a seminar event in Novo Hamburgo on April 11. 

At the event, an economist, Dr Marcos Lélis, will address questions that are of immediate interest to footwear manufacturers in Brazil, including short-term projections for developments in the shoe industry, the situation in the international footwear market, and the state of the wider global economy.

The organisers will also use the event to launch their industry report for 2018 giving details of footwear production, exports, employment and consumption.
