Tannin to be sole supplier of Stahl leather chemicals in US-Canada

Tannin Corporation is the largest wet-end chemical supplier in North America, Stahl said, and business manager for North and Central America, Alexander Campbell, added: “They know the local and regional markets and share our values and knowledge. They will be able to obtain local stock in a more efficient way, and in turn, we will be able to focus entirely on providing our clients with the best technical support.”
Stahl previously supplied its chemicals directly to tanners in these two countries, but from January 1, these companies have been supplied by Tannin Corporation instead. Customers being supplied with Stahl chemicals by another two agents in North America, Classic Dyestuffs and Standard Color, will be supplied by Tannin Corporation from May 1.
Tannin’s customer service manager, Chris Yiu, said at the time of the announcement: “Stahl knows what is important to its clients and always puts their wishes first. Because of our extensive experience with tanners we know Stahl’s portfolio very well and that enables us to emphasise what possibilities their latest solutions bring to the table.”
