Cromogenia targets waterproofness with new range

The company said development of these products has come in response to increasingly strict requirements with regards to leather chemicals. It aims to satisfy the needs of its customers, both in terms of technical specifications and of the feel of materials.
The products in this collection are:
• Repelan PSH-200 – a retanning and greasing product that results in full leathers with medium softness. It provides high waterproofing levels;
• Repelan HO – a retanning and greasing product designed to create high-wearing leathers for use in items like safety shoes. It also offers high waterproofing levels;
• Repelan HX-3 – a silicone emulsion that offers good waterproofing without affecting the properties of the leather;
• Repelan WR-25 – an oil based on phosphoric esters that gives a high level of softness to a leather. It is said to offer good light fastness and heat resistance;
• Repelan HC – a retanning agent designed to improve the penetration of waterproofing products.
