Aspinal of London picks new design chief

Leathergoods brand Aspinal of London has appointed Giles Deacon as its new design director. He has previously worked with the brand on a capsule collection of accessories. 

He will work under Lisa Montague, who took over as CEO of Aspinal in September 2017, and will continue to run his eponymous couture brand. 

Mr Deacon said: “After a really exciting time on the capsule collection launched during London Fashion Week in September, I would like to thank Aspinal of London and Mariya Dykalo [Aspinal’s creative director] for this wonderful opportunity and look forward to the collections ahead.”
