UK accessories brand secures funding for expansion

Leathergoods brand Aspinal of London has announced plans to increase the number of retail outlets it runs and to employ more people after securing funding of almost £10 million from Santander Corporate & Commercial under the scope of The Santander Breakthrough Fund.

At the moment Aspinal has eight own-operated stores, six concessions and three overseas franchised stores. It employs 176 people at the moment. Revenues in the year to April 2015 grew by 13% on the previous year, and the company is budgeting a further increase of 25% in the full year to April 2016.
