International research group buys BLC

BLC will now become part of Eurofins’ consumer products testing division and Eurofins said this part of its business will be “significantly strengthened” by the acquisition.
BLC was founded 95 years ago as the British Leather Manufacturers Research Association. It carries out leather and chemical testing, consulting and auditing.
Eurofins provides testing and support services to the pharmaceutical, food, environmental, agroscience and consumer products industries. It runs a network of more than 400 laboratories across 44 countries.
