Trumpler will exhibit new products at ACLE
21/07/2017
Highlights will include Trupol PES, which the company describes as “a highly stabilised, universal, fully synthetic fatliquor based on fatty esters with excellent lightfastness and heat-yellowing properties”. According to the manufacturer, this product will improve the stability and dispersion of fatliquor combinations, enhancing the inner softness and surface handle of hides. Trupol PES can be used in chrome tanning and retanning baths.
Trumpler will also have on show at ACLE Resistol AOL a synthetic, high molecular weight antioxidant auxiliary that offers improvements in light- and heat-fastness, making it particularly useful in the manufacture of white and pastel leathers that contain fatliquors that are prone to oxidation.
Other products the company sought to draw visitors’ attention to in the build-up to ACLE include Truposol GF, a highly sulfited universal fatliquor based on high-quality natural fatty substances, Trupotan LR, a phenolic replacement syntan that produces fine and tight-grained leather with full and bright dyeings, good softness and a full handle, and Trupotan TGN, a neutralising agent that can be used in conventional neutralisation processes as an alkali substitute to provide additional plumping of the leather or, by means of what Trumpler has called “a novel application process”, for the upgrading of loose raw material.
