Aston Martin starts production of new model
Luxury automotive company Aston Martin has begun production of its new DB11 model. The first DB11 cars came off the company’s production line at Gaydon, near Coventry, at the end of September and the first deliveries to customers will take place during October.

The company launched the DB11 at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March and Aston Martin received orders for 3,000 of the cars in the months that followed. Each of those cars will be hand-built at Gaydon; the design has won a number of awards.

Aston Martin chief executive, Dr Andy Palmer, has said he will personally assure the quality by inspecting the first 1,000 cars himself.
